White Christmas for South Texas |
|
Needless to say, cold winters and snow are not common occurrences in deep South Texas. There has not been recorded any measurable snow fall in South Texas for over 100 years, but on late Christmas eve of 2004, deep South Texas was surprised with a coating of snow. For many in the area, it was the first time they have ever seen snow in person and had a chance to get out and play in or simply enjoy the beauty of a white Christmas. For those that slept through the falling snow, they awoke on Christmas morning to find the world outside covered in a blanket of fresh white snow. A few old cars that slept outdoors on that night got a good dusting of snow and we thought we would share and let you enjoy some of the wonder of our Christmas 2004 miracle snow day.
If you have any old car pictures to share from the South Texas snow day, please contact us.
Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. - Psalm 20:7
