Mission
Market Square Classic Car Show -- March 4, 2006
The 3rd annual
Mission Market Square Car Show was yet again a great success.
This year we have wonderful weather for the event and a great
turn out. Again about 300 old cars were in attendance
from all across the state of Texas and several car groups from
Mexico. Estimates of about 3000 spectators stopped by to
take a look at the cars and look through the vendors goods.
The event once again was free to enter and car owners got to
go home with a chance to win some cash and prizes. Door
prizes and drawings were held throughout the day and finally
prizes and trophies given at the end of the day. Special
thanks once again to Jim and Jann Schroeder and Mark and Mindy
Levermann for all their efforts and all the volunteers that
helped make this event another great success this year as
well. We look forward to next years event and encourage
you all to make it out and invite others to come join the fun.
With the help of sponsors, cash prizes totaling nearly $4,500
was given away this year and next year will probably be more.
