Annual RGV chapter Viejitos Car Club Car Show -- Weslaco
On July 15,
2006 the Rio Grande Valley chapter of the Viejitos car club
hosted their annual Car Show. Once again in true Viejitos
fashion they welcomed all types of cars from across the valley,
state, and even a few out of state. They provided a free
lunch BBQ plate for everyone who brought out their car and had
various other prizes and awards given through the day as well.
It was a good day with only a little sprinkling of rain here and
there but otherwise a nice HOT south Texas day. The event
brought out a variety of lowriders, hot rods, bombs, bikes, and
a few of everything in between. A total of about 120 cars
were present at any given time and a good time had by all I
spoke with.
