Our good friend
and winter Texan buddy, Vern Trent once again organized a car
cruise and invited everyone out to join him. It was a
chance to get the old cars out on a Saturday morning and let
them run down the road as they were intended. The date was
set for Saturday, January 14th. The plan was to meet up in
Weslaco and then head on some back roads over to a truck stop in
Edinburg where the group met up with others that chose not to
run the extra miles down to Weslaco. From Edinburg, the
entire group ran over to Rio Grande City where the group stopped
for lunch at the historic La Borde House hotel. We
couldn't have asked for better weather for this great run and no
major issues with any of the cars. Was a great time and we
thank Vern for his efforts and look forward to seeing you all at
the next one. Here a few shots of what you missed out on.
