20th
Annual Old Car Festival -- McAllen
Once again the
local Rio Grande Valley region of the Antique Automobile Club of
America hosted their annual Old Car Festival in McAllen.
This is the 20th year for this event which is a pretty good mile
stone for an event like this in deep south Texas. Early in
the morning on Sunday, November 11th the car started slowly
showing up and finding their place in the parking lot, grass and
wherever they could find to park. The sun came out and
heated up the windy day but close to 300 cars showed up for the
event.
