Coastal A’s and Rods 14th Annual Fun Run -- Corpus Christi
The Coastal A's and
Rods car club from Corpus Christi once again hosted another
successful event namely their annual Fun Run held at the Holiday
Inn hotel off Leopard in Corpus. This event is held every
year on Memorial Day weekend. The event starts Friday
evening as the cars start to cruise in from across the state and
beyond and join up for an entertaining night at the Snapka's
Drive In for some good food and laughs as some of the hot
rodders can't help but get out and smoke some tires and rev up
the horses in the cars. For the most part the local police
were understanding and let the fun and games carry on for a
while. The event continues on Saturday and Sunday with a
car show in the parking lot of the host hotel as well as other
activities and vendors etc. Here are a few of the hundreds
that made it out this year.
