Annual New Braunfels Swap Meet and Car Show 2007 -- New
Braunfels
Once again the
Texas weather was not cooperating with the plans of the
organizers of another old car event. Each year the New
Braunfels area car club hosts its annual swap meet for several
days at the Comal County fair grounds and on Sunday, they
conclude the event with a car show. Well this year on
April 20th, the sky opened up and the rains came down but some
of us actually braved the weather and had a car show anyway.
In all about 75 or so cars were in attendance and the owners
made the best of the on again off again showers throughout the
day. The only other valleyite I saw who braved the weather
and took his car up was Jim McBride with his pink and black
Ford. Despite the showers some really very nice cars were
on hand. Look forward to some better weather next year and
more cars.
