Flag Day Celebration 2006 -- Pharr
On June 14th,
the cities of Pharr and San Juan held a commemoration ceremony
and patriotic celebration as part of the national Flag Day
holiday. A few of us received last minute notice and made
plans to attend a parade/cruise held that evening from Pharr
over to Victory Park in San Juan where the program and a flag
retirement/burning ceremony was held. Here are a
few shots of some of those who attended.
