Valley Heat Lowrider, Truck, Bike Show

The Del Valle car club held its
annual lowrider show in Pharr, TX. The show is named
Valley Heat Lowrider show and attracts a variety of people with
their cars, trucks, and bikes. A good number of lowriders
from the valley area are vintage vehicles and are certainly
among the more popular and appealing machines at such shows.
The event was held at the Pharr Convention Center on a bright
and sunny Sunday afternoon. About 100 vehicles were
entered in the event this year. The event featured a
judging contest for the various vehicles and trophies were
presented to many in various classes. Stereo contests,
hydraulic jumping/hopping contests, live music, food, and other
contests were all part of this event. Entry to the contest
was $25 for vehicle. If this event peaks your interest,
look for event coming up next year as they are planning on
hosting this event at this location again next year.
