Mission Market Square Classic Car Show 2007 -- Mission
On a sunny
Saturday, March 3rd, 2007, the city of Mission, TX once again
held its annual classic car show at the Mission Market Square
facility located just off of Conway, the main street of downtown
Mission. The event was once again spear headed by the
entire Schroeder family with help of their friends, family, and
other workers. Plenty of food and goods were sold
throughout the day by the many various vendors and thousands
showed up to walk around and view the hundreds of old cars that
showed up to participate in the event. This event is
unique to the area as it is the only event that is entirely FREE
to enter and yet all of the participants have an opportunity to
go home with cash and prize awards just for being a part of the
fun. We had a good number of "out of towners" join us this
year, which was great and we encourage more and more from up
state to come in and join us in the future. We had
participants from Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Austin, and a few
places in between as well as some from various towns from Mexico
as well. Here is a sampling of some of the vehicles in
attendance. We look forward to seeing many more next year.
